MiX’s AV Team had a productive time at the ISE in Barcelona last week. It was great to see such innovation and AV expertise on display from over 1600 exhibitors!

The innovations in LED options were a noticeable key feature of this year’s conference. Direct View Displays could be found throughout the showcase, as well as custom LED products such as those with flexible panels, curved screens, or innovative foldable solutions to enhance the client / end user experience.

The focus on Sustainability was highlighted with E-Ink displays allowing for greater energy efficiency, with the option for standby or external power management, supported by certain manufacturers.

There was also an increase in packaging / casings made from larger amounts of recycled materials as well as manufacturers are also offerings warranties on second hand products, to drive re-use in the fit-out industry.

Another notable feature pointed to the advancements in camera technology, with AI algorithms now adopted by manufacturers to switch cameras depending on which direction the active speaker is facing.

As always, the ISE conference allowed for great networking, engagement, thought leadership and social events and MiX were delighted to attend and contribute to this!
